Billy and The Jets — Billy Joel & Elton John Tribute Band, Atlanta
Billy and The Jets is a five-piece Billy Joel and Elton John tribute act based in Acworth, Georgia, just north of Atlanta in Cobb County. Founded in 2025 by Paul Hand and TJ Jones, the band plays two full sets in one night — one for each artist — at theaters, taverns, festivals and private events across metro Atlanta, Georgia and the Southeast, with dates running up the East Coast into Florida, the Carolinas, Alabama, New York and Ohio.

Performing since spring 2025, the band covers the songs that fill a room across three generations — “Piano Man,” “Rocket Man,” “Uptown Girl,” “Crocodile Rock” — on piano, guitar, bass, drums and saxophone. Paul Hand leads on vocals and piano, with TJ Jones on bass, Val Allen Wood on guitar, Mike Francoeur on drums and Will Smith on saxophone.
